Hi guys, my name is Helena! I teach 9th and 10th grade English at Central High in PPSD. I moved up to RI one year ago as a part of my TFA commitment, and have fallen completely in love with the community and people here. I've learned a lot this year about teaching and learning from classroom experience and RIC graduate coursework, and I am excited to continue this pursuit of knowledge. In my free time, I love hanging out with friends and engaging in artsy fartsy hobbies. Here's to more blogs and summertime!! Yay!
